A theme here is not a tint. Each one owns the typeface the number is set in, the colours of everything, and the horizon drawn underneath the countdown, because a countdown is a walk towards a horizon. Coast

The place you are going, the boat, the grandchildren, the view from the house you have not bought yet. Choose a photo and it fills the screen behind the countdown, with the number kept readable on top of it.
Each theme also brings its own quotes into the daily rotation, so a golfer gets golf lines and a gardener gets the seasons. The milestone names change with the world too: "another tide out", "another shift done", "one under".
